<aside> 💡 If your IP address does not match what is entered in your POS, you will not be able to process cards. To find and fix this issue, please follow the steps below.

  1. First, we need to pull up the IP address on the credit card machine. On the countertop device, please push 000 enter on the pinpad.
  2. The device will ask you for a password, the password is 9416557 then press enter.
  3. Next tap on Network.
  4. You will see your IP address on the credit card machine.
  5. Now, open the Shoptiques POS on your iPad and navigate to Settings >> Cards Processing.
  6. Verify that the device address entered in the iPad matches the IP Address on the Cayan machine.
  7. If the two are not matching, copy the IP address from the Cayan machine into the iPad and push save.
  8. Next, reboot the credit card machine.
